51 ROBERT LENKIEWICZ (1941-2002) oil on canvas 'Self Portrait with Eliza in Red' signed 35cm x29cm. £4,000 - £6,000.
I think this is in fact a gouache, but a great one, from the 1970's. The "Self Portrait" is apparently a tiny reflection of the painter in the glass behind Eliza.
89 ROBERT LENKIEWICZ (1941-2002) watercolour 'Portrait of Brenda' circa 1970, signed , 37cm x 33cm Provenance Brenda was a Patient of a local psychiatrist living in Plymouth. £300 - £500

93 ROBERT LENKIEWICZ (1941-2002) oil on board 'Mouse, Blue Coat' 51cm x 61cm, Mouse was Lenkiewicz' s first wife whom he met in 1961 at St. Martins School of Art. Provenance, purchased Bearne's Studio Sale 12th April 2008, Lot 193, later restored. £2,500 - £3,000
Those of us who saw this at the Exeter auction remember how sad it was seeing the board broken horisontally. The restoration appears to have been successful in mending the break. There has also been some fairly heavy restoration of the damaged paint, especially in the lower part.
