« on: February 21, 2008, 05:48:23 PM »

There are a number of paintings / drawings coming up for auction in the near future, some which have been seen before but a few new ones.

Christies, South Kensington - 27th February 2008 - Lot no. 0145

Sothebys, New Bond Street - 18th March 2008 - 3 lots - nos. 111, 112 and 140

The rest can be seen at www.the-saleroom.com - 9 lots at three different auction houses

Prices at Sothebys today.

Lot 111 Self portrait as a young man £23,900
Lot 112 Diogenes £17,300
Lot 114 Study Iona in red £18,500

Lot 111 good price bearing in mind this lot failed before and was bought for approx £5k at the first estate sale. Not a bad profit! Lenkiewicz defies global markets?
